Do you think this is a good SUMMARY of Dear John By: Nicholas sparks?

Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks, is a novel about the life of John Tyree and his one true love Savannah Lynn Curtis. John Tyree was determined to turn his life around. Being a rebellious college drop-out, it was his last resort to enlist in the military. He didn’t have much to leave behind him, only a few high school friends and his dad, Mr. Tyree, but all that didn’t matter much to him. His dad and him were complete opposites and barely even spoke. Once he was stationed in Germany, he had regular leaves home for about 2 weeks. His third leave home, however, changed his life forever. He met the woman of his dreams, Savannah Lynn Curtis, on the pier of Wilmington Beach. He found it easy to talk to her and she felt the same, as if they had known each other their whole lives. Within a day they were already showing signs of affection. Minute after minute he was falling more and more in love with her. Before he returned back to Germany, he promised Savannah that he’d marry her once he came back. He also promised that for every full moon, he’d look up at it, and relive all the moments they had together. While John was away, all he thought about was Savannah. She sent him letters weekly and her feelings for him were stronger then ever as well. But then 9/11 happened and John had to enlist in the army again. Savannah’s letters to him began to die down. At first it was every other week, then became months. In the last letter he ever received from her, she told him she had fallen in love with another man, and that John was always going to be in her heart. From there, his world came crashing down. After his dad died, he had no one else in his life. He saw Savannah for one last time, but was too late. She was married and was leading a life of her own. But he knew she still loved him; on a full moon in 2006, he saw her standing outside her house and they both relived their moments together for one last time.
